B I O G R A P H Y
Andrea Baroni is a guitar player from Florence who specialized in Pop/Rock and Jazz/Fusion Guitar. In 2016, after graduating from the L. Cherubini Conservatory of Florence in Music and New Technology, he moved to Siena where he completed his bachelor's in Jazz Guitar at the renowned Siena Jazz University.
During his time in Siena, he had the opportunity to study with some of the most important Italian jazz musicians that inspired his musical sensibility like Roberto Cecchetto, Roberto Nannetti, Stefano Battaglia, Fulvio Sigurtà, Giovanni Falzone, Rita Marcotulli, Alfonso Santimone, Daniele Camarda, Maurizio Gianmarco, Alessio Riccio, Simone Graziano.
In 2022 he obtained his master's title in Jazz Guitar at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Florence.
In recent years he has worked in various musical scenes from jazz to Pop/Rock/Indie: Edoardo Michelozzi, Ilaria (X-Factor), Manuel Aspidi (Amici), Cecco e Cipo (X-Factor), Miranda, Jonny Casamenti, Bozoo Rock Band, Neena (The Voice), Franco Santarnecchi, Luca Marianini, Fresh Lemon Jazz Quartet, and many others.
In 2015 Andrea begins his teaching career by collaborating with some of the most important schools of music situated in Florence.
He is teaching modern guitar at the prestigious “Academie Musicali Casa Ricordi Lizard” located in Empoli, according to their musical program.
Since 2021 he is writing musical articles for “GuitarProf Blog” a didactic blog where he created short lessons for guitar players.
